Two Barbers. Two States. One Shared Vision.
It started in August, 2021 at the Connecticut Barber Expo.
Lee C. Edmonds, a dedicated barber running a busy shop in Seminole, Florida, happened to strike up a conversation with Robert E. Parkison, a seasoned barber from Cameron, Missouri. Robert, now in his 60s, brought decades of hands-on experience and a wealth of veteran knowledge to the table.
As they talked, both realized they shared the same daily frustration behind the chair: standard styling tools just weren't holding up to the demands of daily barbershop work. Heat from blow dryers weakened the materials, static was a constant hassle, and many brushes lacked the durability required for long days of detailed fading and detangling.
Over a quiet lunch, they sketched out simple ideas on a paper napkin—focusing on ergonomic grips, heat-resistant materials, and anti-static composite designs.
That practical blueprint became the foundation for EDMONDS.
